You are Robot! The ongoing series of tiny figures brings a large amount of variety to the table, and this time around their Robot is quite the character. A distinctive sculpted right arm has a claw hand, while the left arm is basically normal. Under the newly sculpted helmet, visible circuits and gears bring the tiny figure to life. And boy, is he creepy-- get a look at those red eyes and the surrounding "eyeball" design. This thing almost feels like something out of Terminator, until you get to the torso anyway.
The body design relies on more classic robot elements, like what appears to be a fuel indicator next to tons of rivets. Seriously, have you ever seen quite so many rivets on a single LEGO figure before? I haven't. The silver, black, red, and green give him a little more life and help avoid in his looking like the Tinman from the Wizard of Oz which, being in the public domain these days, I assume LEGO could get to if they were so inclined.
The design is fairly cute and simple, and since there aren't a lot of LEGO robot figures these days it's worth picking up. I really dug it when it came out last year, and today it goes for $8-$12... it seems high, but it is a neat figure. Bits and pieces of him-- the arm specifically-- were reused in Series 3 to make a Blacktron-inspired Cyborg.
