I assume He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Cartoon CollectionOrko will annoy people. because you need to order two. Why? It's got alternate parts so you can make Orko's Uncle Montork from the cartoon - basically making it two figures. It's slightly smaller than 2020 Origins Orko [FOTD #2,734] but functionally similar. You might want it, and you might not.
When I got 2020 Orko, my thought was "Oh, this is Filmation Orko, just a little big." Putting it side-by-side with Cartoon Collection, you can see the proportions of the 2020 figure are closer to the original action figure (with some Filmation head details) while the 2025 figure is smaller, a little cuter, and feels a smidgen more like the cartoon.

You don't need both, but Montork's head will assure that you're going to buy both because it's a new character too.
Not content to merely swipe Teela's figure's costume, Mattel gave Ms. Lyn a distinct (but separate) outfit. Sure, she shares arms and legs with the red-headed captain of the guard, but Orko's onesie is much closer to the action figure and cartoon with the distinctive triangle abs above her belt. Below the belt she's a tiny bit more simplified, losing one of the waist triangles inside the larger one, but retaining the straps to the legs. It's not a 100% match to the animation model, but it's close enough to read as the character pretty nicely.
The figure has bend-and-swivel wrists, elbows, and shoulders. There are no legs, but you can plug it in a simple floating stand which is actually a lot nicer than the 2020 one. Less is more, plus or minus the perception of "value" when you compare the two figures. It doesn't need much to be good. Characters like Orko and Slimer and Brain and R2-D2 were popular in 1980s kidvid as a small pet/sidekick/little brother with special powers that would save the day. They're also probably cheaper to make, but you can charge more because they're just that popular. I kind of wish Mattel just sold a two-pack of the Trollans, but a swappable head may be good enough for most people.
The special accessory is a Hero Medal from "Creatures from the Tar Swamp." It says "HERO" on it, and you can pop off his had (which has a ball joint) to put it around his neck. It doesn't hang as low as it did on the cartoon, but it is very wearable.
The head swap here is sensible. The heads have 2 sockets on them, one for the hat and one for the neck. You pop off the hat, then pop off the head, and then the scarf - and swap as needed. It's an efficient mechanism and an easy way for collectors to change up the character.
If you're a new collector I'd say get two of this figure, ignore the 2020 version, and just go whole hog in on Cartoon Collection. Fill in vehicles, playsets, and missing characters from other lines as desired - but I'm a sucker for those old cartoons as I watched those, and hand none of the warriors, as a kid. You're not going to feel like this figure is worth $20, or $40 for a pair, but that's the value of a good character. It's Orko. My only real complaint is that the cartoon Orko hat is a little redder, and the toy is basically the same orange as last time and that doesn't match my TV or memory. If you see this set, and have been collecting these guys, get two. Well, maybe one, but consider getting two. I'll buy another if I see it in a store.
