Nintendo Metroid and Mario! I stopped by Tomy and saw Nintendo Plush as expected, but to see a Morph Ball Samus Aran and Samus Helmet plush next to some Fallout plushies was a real surprise.

The My Mari line for kids was also pretty neat. These were tub toys that play up water and pipes, which are things that were present in the very first Mario Bros. game but aren't always a huge part of the game series. There were a number of little baby toys and toddler toys too, showing that Nintendo probably still has faith in Mario as a quasi-Mickey Mouse character that kids will look at and recognize as a fun, iconic mascot that might stick with them for their childhoods and beyond. It was fun to see the demo, which had a little bit of water in a tub.
