While not weird, or wacky, the Fisherman manages to be cool in his bright colors and high piece count. While some figures are content to be a guy with a brick and a wrench, this one really gives you a lot of bits to work with. Want a beard? He's got one, two if you count the one painted to his actual face piece. How about a hat? You got one of those too. There's also a fishing rod, with the wire, and a fish you can catch-- plus the obligatory stand. While I love the Gorilla Suit Guy, he doesn't have quite this much stuff in his packet.
Cast in bright orange and pale blue plastic, this figure really brightens up a room, or a desk. He's got a few pieces you may wish to repurpose for other reasons, but they look great here too. I mean, how many big white bushy beards are in your toy box? I'm willing to bet "not many" and certainly "not enough" would be your top two answers.
Since he has a fish, I'd say this is worth picking up. I always appreciate a complete package as toys go, not including a fish would just lead to disappointment, and disappointment leads to unrest, and you know what unrest brings? That's right, revolution. Avoiding full-scale revolts is important, which is why I like this figure a lot. Buy one and save society!
