Depending on your comics-knowhow, you may know DC's Green Arrow as a variety of things. Maybe you know him as some dude who looks sort of like Robin Hood. Maybe you know him as Batman's crazy old balding leftist buddy. Maybe you know him as the guy who bagged Black Canary-- or you have no idea who the heck he is.
Oliver is adapted to plastic in his more or less modern outfit, complete with hood and facial hair. The head is still articulated, although the hood won't be moving with it. His construction is largely the same as most other figures except the head and the torso, with paint making his fingerless gloves come to life. Unlike many other figures, he has actual pants as evidenced by how they hang slightly above his boots. With ten points of articulation he's nothing to write home about, but this is a nicely-made toy. Seeing as the line feels like it should have been developed for collectors, this is something of a misfire since kids and parents are probably less interested in well-made, durable, pocket-sized interpretations of obscure DC characters than the adult audience.
I picked up this figure 3-pack because I really wanted a 3 3/4-inch Hal Jordan, and this was a nice bonus. Depending on the nature of your local Ross or Wal-Mart stores, you may still be able to do the same-- the clearance racks seem to enjoy hanging on to this range.
